Announced
The Jacobs High School Business Department, in partnership with the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber Foundation, is proud to recognize Julie Aguilar as Business Student of the Month for January.

Julie is currently enrolled in Accounting, Business Law, and Intro to Business, where she consistently demonstrates responsibility, professionalism, and a strong dedication to her academic work. Her teachers speak very highly of her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and positive attitude toward learning. She is known for being dependable, engaged, and willing to take initiative both independently and when collaborating with classmates.

Julie has built a strong foundation in business education and values learning real-world financial and business skills that will support her future independence and career development.

Outside of the classroom, Julie is actively involved in French Club, Senior Student Council, and Symphonic Orchestra. Her involvement across multiple activities highlights her leadership, teamwork, and ability to successfully balance academic and extracurricular commitments.

Julie has also demonstrated impressive entrepreneurial spirit by launching her own small business, Juju’s Bouquets, where she designs and sells handmade eternal flower arrangements. After graduation, Julie plans to attend Elgin Community College to study business before transferring to a university in Chicago. She plans to continue growing her business while pursuing her post-secondary education.

In recognition of her accomplishments, Julie received a $50 gift card to a local restaurant, generously sponsored by the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber Foundation. The Jacobs High School Business Department is proud to celebrate Julie’s achievements and looks forward to her continued success.
