Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber Names Kaleb Price as New Executive Director

The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the hiring of Kaleb Price as its new Executive Director, ushering in the next chapter of leadership for the organization and the local business community it has served since 1952.

Price brings with him a strong understanding of the Chamber’s mission, the value of local business advocacy, and the importance of building meaningful relationships throughout the community. He has served on the Chamber’s Board of Directors, helped strengthen and grow the Ambassador program, and has been involved with Chambers and chamber-related initiatives throughout McHenry County. His leadership experience, community-minded approach, and familiarity with the organization position him well to build on the Chamber’s strong momentum.

Outgoing Executive Director Greg Urban will remain with the Chamber for one month to assist with the transition and provide onboarding support. During that time, Urban will work alongside Price to transfer key systems, procedures, relationships, and operational knowledge to help ensure a smooth handoff for members and the community. Urban is stepping away from the role as he prepares to relocate out of state for family reasons.

“I have enjoyed the last three years tremendously and am very proud of what we have built together,” said Greg Urban. “I know Kaleb will be able to take the processes, relationships, and community-building we have achieved and continue moving the Chamber forward. Kaleb and Linda will be able to serve our business community with the same level of care and compassion that our members deserve.”

The Chamber believes this transition will build upon the solid foundation established during Greg Urban’s tenure and position the organization for continued growth, collaboration, and service to the business community.

The Chamber looks forward to Kaleb’s leadership and to continuing its work on behalf of local businesses, organizations, and the broader community.

ABOUT - Kaleb Price is a community-focused leader with more than a decade of experience building organizations, developing partnerships, and supporting workforce and economic development efforts. In his most recent role as Community Engagement Specialist he worked closely with business leaders, municipal officials, and regional stakeholders to strengthen local connections and community impact. 

Kaleb also brings meaningful chamber experience through ambassador involvement, program development, event support, and strategic partnership initiatives across McHenry County. His work has included supporting membership growth, helping lead community-based programs, and contributing to events that raise the visibility of local businesses and strengthen regional collaboration. He is known for his ability to build relationships, bring people together, and serve with both energy and purpose. Kaleb is committed to serving Chamber members well and helping the organization continue to grow on the strong foundation already in place.

ABOUT - Since 1952, the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce has served many of the business and professional leaders throughout the community. The Chamber works to promote and support the prosperity and development of the local business community, helping to enhance the quality of life in both Algonquin and Lake in the Hills.
