Mental Health Counselor
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological therapeutic services, which may include individual, and family therapy
- Clinician may specify age range for theraputic services. Experience in treating children and adolescents is required.
- Complete required practice documentation (i.e., intake and progress notes, chart notes) in a timely fashion
- Collect required office paperwork from the patient
- Collect copays/coinsurance/balances on patient accounts
- Schedule and manage own caseload
- Assist in marketing, article/blog writing, and development of referrals and networking
- Create Psychology Today profile that includes RA information
- Has experience in and uses empirically supported treatments regardless of theraputic orientation
- Attend weekly Indio usual and group supervision
- Optional: Assessment services which include memory/dementia, spinal cord stimulator, bariatric, ADHD, and general psychological testing. If the clinician has no experience the above assessments, training is available within the scope of their educational restrictions.
Minimum Requirements: Master's Degree
Limited Licensed Professionals: Rosecrans & Associates will provide free supervision to earn hours toward state licensure.
Full Time/Part Time: This position starts out as part time, and the clinician can build a case load up to full time. Full time is considered a minimum case load of 25 seen patients per week.
Work Hours: Flexible work schedule. Evenings and weekends preferred for patient availability
Wages: Clincian will be paid per session seen based on the corresponding CPT code for the appointment. Pay rate varies by educational degree, experience, and type of licensure obtained.
