McHenry County Libraries Present Author Abbott Kahler at McHenry County College
McHenry County, IL — November 5, 2024 — In collaboration with several McHenry County Libraries, the Algonquin Area Public Library is pleased to announce a free special author event featuring New York Times bestselling author Abbott Kahler. Formerly writing as Karen Abbott, Kahler will join us on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McHenry County College’s Luecht Auditorium, located at 8900 Northwest Highway, Crystal Lake, IL.
Kahler, acclaimed for her compelling works of historical nonfiction and fiction, will discuss her latest release, Eden Undone, as well as popular titles including Sin in the Second City, American Rose, and The Ghosts of Eden Park. This is a unique opportunity for fans and new readers alike to gain insights into the fascinating world of historical narratives and the research behind Kahler's storytelling.
