About Us

The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering the local business community and fostering a stronger, more resilient region. Our mission is to provide essential resources, promote education, and deliver rapid response assistance to businesses and individuals in Algonquin and Lake in the Hills.

Through the ALERT Fund (Algonquin Lake in the Hills Emergency Recovery Team), we offer immediate financial support to businesses within the 60102 and 60156 ZIP codes affected by disasters such as fires, floods, or other emergencies. The Foundation also champions local workforce and business development through Entrepreneur Academy Scholarships, providing business owners and employees access to education, workshops, and training needed to advance their skills and grow their enterprises.

As a community-driven organization, the Chamber Foundation proudly sponsors and partners with various local events and initiatives that enrich the lives of our residents, strengthen local commerce, and attract tourism.
