The Nutcracker Ballet featuring Berkshire Ballet Theatre

Another Raue Center Holiday Tradition! Hear Tchaiovsky's unforgettable music, witness emotional dancing and see lavish costumes when The Nutcracker Ballet comes to Raue Center's stage once again. Based on the story of E.T.A. Hoffman, The Nutcracker Ballet has come to be nearly synonymous with Tchaiovsky's masterpiece. And rightfully so, as it takes Hoffman's story and transports it to a new medium in which the fantastic happenings in The Nutcracker are given a magical dreamscape where a child's imagination makes dolls come alive and candy dance. Berkshire Ballet Theatre, located in Crystal Lake, has worked in conjunction with Raue Center For The Arts for years, bringing talented and professional works to the stage. Their mission is to create a performance environment that the Berkshire Ballet Theatre and apprentices, trainees, and company dancers can use to gain experience, artistry, education, and a love of the arts.
