Lake in the Hills National Night Out
You are invited to our annual National Night Out Community Cookout on Saturday, August 5th from 11am - 2pm at the Irv Floress Safety Education Center (1109 Crystal Lake Rd. just south of the police department).
We welcome everyone to attend this free event.
Watch a live K-9 demo presented by the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, check out the LifeNet helicopter up close, see and touch various types of police and fire vehicles, meet “PC” the Patrol Car Robot, try on a pair of fatal vision impairment goggles, talk with our traffic unit officers, meet an evidence technician and learn about how to process a crime scene, lots of activities for the kids and so more.
Free hotdogs, chips, and pop will be provided. We hope to see you there!
