SUMMARY:Summer Solstice Outdoor Yoga Celebration
DESCRIPTION:In celebration of International Yoga Day\, Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center will host outdoor yoga classes on Saturday\, June 17\, as part of the Summer Solstice Outdoor Yoga Celebration. The simultaneous events will include all-level yoga and more activities at the Crystal Lake and Huntley Health Bridge locations.\n\n\n\nThe celebration will kick off with check-in at 9 a.m. An hourlong yoga class\, taught by Health Bridge's certified yoga instructors\, will begin at 9:45 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats though a limited number will be available. From 10:45 a.m. to noon there will be food\, raffle prizes and interactive booths from Centegra's Wellness and Nutrition departments\, plus Pilates and Group Fitness. Prizes will include private yoga lessons\, yoga mats and more.\n\n\n\nThe Crystal Lake event will be at the field east of the fitness center\, 200 E. Congress Parkway. The Huntley event will be east of the fitness center\, 10450 Algonquin Road. In the event of inclement weather\, the Crystal Lake event will move to the indoor basketball court at the fitness center and the Huntley event will be at the indoor tennis courts at the fitness center.\n\n\n\nThe event is open to those 12 and older. KidZone for children ages 4 months to 11 years old will be available at $1.75 per hour for participants.\n\n\n\nThe cost to attend is $5 per person with all proceeds being donated to the Centegra Health System Foundation\, a nonprofit that supports a wide variety of community services at Centegra Health System. Admission includes access to the outdoor pool on June 17 and a gift bag worth more than $25.
