DESCRIPTION:Poetry Night at Raue Center Caf \n\nMARCH 13 @ 5-7p \n\nFREE ADMISSION! \n\n\n\nPoetry Night is a late night excursion into the written word and an opportunity for anyone in the room to become a beatnik emboldened to sing songs or pen poems that delight and excite! \n\n\n\nCome out to see big names in poetry and your local favorites read\, rhyme\, sing\, speak and perform their work.\n\n\n\nRaue Center hosts some of the best local talents around in its cafe space on Wednesdays & Thursdays from 5-7p. Admission is FREE!\n\n\n\nDedicated to realizing its mission of "Arts for All\," Raue Center is proud to host local talent free of charge to the community. Artists are welcome to hone their skills.\n\n\n\nInterested in performing? Contact Program Manager\, Kayti Sault at ksault@rauecenter.org.\n\n\n\nThis evening's Poetry Night will be curated by Ken Balmes. \n\nKen Balmes was born in Waukegan\, IL and lives in Island Lake\, IL with his wife Virginia and a Siberian husky named Cass.
