DESCRIPTION:State Representative Suzanne Ness\, along with the Fox\n\nRiver Valley Public Library District will host the Mobile Museum of Tolerance\n\n(MMOT) on Monday\, July 29th and Tuesday\, July 30th from Noon   7:00pm in the\n\nparking lot of the Dundee Library located at 555 Barrington Avenue in East Dundee.\n\nThe Mobile Museum of Tolerance\, developed in collaboration with the Midwest\n\noffice of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Illinois State Board of Education\, is a\n\nfree\, traveling museum and classroom. Led by an Illinois licensed educator\, it aims\n\nto inspire people to use their voices to speak up against anti-Semitism\, bullying\,\n\nracism\, intolerance\, and hate.\n\n"I had the opportunity to visit the MMOT when it was in Algonquin this Spring and I\n\nsupport the mission of educating and sharing history so we may learn from the past and\n\nnot repeat it\," shared Representative Ness. "I am happy to partner with the Fox Valley\n\nLibrary in bringing this wonderful educational experience back to our district!"\n\nIn conjunction with the MMOT tour\, Sarah Sullivan\, instructor of History and Business\n\nat McHenry County College will be presenting Beyond Rosa: The Women of the\n\nMontgomery Bus Boycott\, at the Dundee Township Park District Adult Activities Center\n\n(665 Barrington Avenue) adjacent to the library on Monday July 29th at 1:00pm. What\n\nyou think you know about the Montgomery Bus Boycott is incomplete\; women do\n\nnot often show up in Civil Rights history\, but women planned\, coordinated and\n\nimplemented one of history's most successful boycotts. The backstory of this boycott\n\nis fascinating and will change your understanding of history.\n\nThe Mobile Museum of Tolerance and presentation on the Montgomery Boycott are\n\nfree and open to the public.
