Fun holiday activities will fill Old Town Main St. The Annual Tree Lighting will be located at The Plaza (2 S. Main Street) in Algonquin. Holiday music will begin around 4:00pm\, along with a variety of Holiday performances\, followed by the entrance of Santa and Mrs. Claus! Activities will include visiting with Santa's Reindeer\, Live Music throughout the street with Jimmy Marquis and Classical Blast\, Pictures in Giant Snow Globe\, Live Ice Sculpting\, Free Hot Cocoa\, activities with local sponsors and businesses and of course visiting and pictures with the Jolly man himself! New this year...don't miss the trackless train rides and the Merry Market on Main sponsored by the Downtown Algonquin Association that opens at 3pm.\n\nBe sure to check back for more details!
